Happy New Year!
Hello and Happy New Year! I’m glad to be back after a few chaotic months! The biggest news I have to share is the arrival of my baby boy Carson Daniel Stephen Kruse who was born on November 23rd! Being a mom is hard work but the it’s best thing that has ever happened to me. Carson is already one month and 2 weeks old and has celebrated his first Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years with us!
This is Carson at 1 day old. He LOVES his dad! He makes eye contact with Jared and if Jared happens to look away Carson isn’t a happy camper. This was in the NICU because Carson had a rocky entrance into the world. His umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck and his lungs collapsed so we were in the NICU for a few days. A week later he got a lung infection and his oxygen level dropped so we were sent back to the NICU for 2 more days then sent home on oxygen. Thankfully he is all healed up and doing great now! 
This is Carson at 3 weeks old – wide awake and just hanging out! 
Christmas Eve
On Christmas Day Jared dressed up as Santa just to take a picture with Carson because when Jared was a newborn his dad took a picture with him just like this. We even dressed Carson in the same outfit Jared wore.
