My day off {A post about nothing}

May 6th, 2009

Today I got home from lunch and had deer in my yard! They have been around for the past few days and actually ate all the flowers I just planted in my garden! If they weren’t so cute I’d be super mad. They were a lot closer but once I was able to get inside and grab my camera they had moved back a bit. blogmy-yard_1242blogmy-yard_1237So I know these pictures are really of nothing but I love these simple things… these plants started growing at the porch and I was going to pull them out but so many little bunnies come up and eat it and I like to watch them!blogdavidandjessica_0794I’m growing some veggies this year because I love to eat them in the summer time and I love to garden. Gardening really reminds me of my dad. When I was a little girl I always helped him plant stuff in the garden, now that he has past away (10 years ago) and I’m older it helps me remember him. These are the carrots that are growing so well … I’m going to replant them now that they are getting bigger. 🙂 blogdavidandjessica_0792

Look at this sky… I took this last night. I always picture the sky looking like this when Jesus comes back! lol 🙂

blogdavidandjessica_0787Because I’m blessed to work from home I love watching these pretty birds right outside of the window.  EXCEPT that freaking woodpecker!

And He said to His disciples, “For this reason I say to you, do not worry about your life, as to what you will eat; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing? Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds! And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life’s span? If then you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about other matters? Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You men of little faith! And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying.
