Tim & Ashley {wedding day}

July 24th, 2009

Tim and Ashley had such a BEAUTIFUL wedding day! It’s been a few weeks since I’ve had time to blog about it but it was such an unbelievably memorable experience. Becky Young came along with me and we drove down on a Thursday night we had dinner at a place called “Mother’s Bistro” in downtown Buena Vista we just kicked back and watched a band in the back yard! We came back to the hotel room put on our swimsuits (9 pm) and rushed down to the hot springs, which are along side this beautiful clear river – the sky in Buena Vista is magical at night because the stars are so bright! We rested our heads back on the smooth rocks as we layed in the hot springs and talked about how beautiful our God’s creation is. We slept so well and wow those beds are seriously one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. To make a long story a little shorter 🙂 It was an amazing stay! The next morning we got up and were excited to see the BEAUTIFUL & JOYFUL bride Ashley just starting to get ready in her cabin! blog111timeandashleywedding_16edited111timeandashleywedding_1204blog111timeandashleywedding_120Tim & the guys were equally as calm and collected! Just having fun!blog111timeandashleywedding_126

I snapped this picture at the wedding of one of my best friends in the world Megan and her little brother Chris. Chris past away within the week from a car fire. It has been a very difficult week, we drove to the funeral in Kansas on Sunday night all though the night to be at the funeral. It was a beautiful service and was a great way to say good bye for now, until we meet him again in heaven. I was also reminded of the importance of pictures – this one of Megan and Chris has become a beautiful treasure to me.  http://www.metacafe.com/watch/3084454/chris_garlows_story/ blogmeganandchris
