HI! I’m Vanessa Kruse. A little bit about myself….. I’m passionate about my family, I have an amazing husband, two precious little boys, and a beautiful daughter. My kids are absolutely the most photographed kids ever. If you’ve met me in person then you’ve probably seen my whip out my iPhone to show you a photo (or 20) of them. I love it.  I’ve been blessed to be photographing weddings and portraits and involved in the photography industry for the past 12 years. I grew up in South East Aurora and somehow I’ve lived in the same couple mile radius my entire life. I really do love living in Colorado. Beauty surrounds! One of the things I cherish about photography is learning the stories of my clients and helping them preserve memories! Most of my clients become my friends and I am so blessed to say that. I have some great people surrounding me!

My Style

I love the raw emotion of photojournalism. I believe in romantic lighting, incredible backgrounds and choosing locations very carefully. I never interrupt a moment. I never pose situations that are already so magical on their own. I am an observer, most of the time. With me, there is very limited intrusion and only when it is desired to achieve a particular artistic vision. I create timeless, beautiful and organic photography.
