Family {celebrating!}

April 16th, 2012

I am so excited to share this photo session. One of my close friends just adopted the cutest little guy ever! After watching the process and praying for her family and seeing the hope and patience they had to have during the process, my eyes just fill up with tears of joy that he will be their son forever. Reading her blog of the process this poem she shared was my favorite.

I wanted you more than you will ever know, so I sent my love to follow wherever you go.
It’s as high as you wish it. It’s quick as an elf. You will never outgrow it… it stretches itself!
So climb any mountain … climb up to the sky!
My love will find you. My love can fly!
Make a big splash! Go out on a limb! My love will find you. My love can swim!
It never gets lost, never fades, never ends… if you’re working… or playing… or sitting with friends.
You can dance ’til you’re dizzy… paint ’til you’re blue…There’s no place, not one, that my love can’t find you.
And if someday you’re lonely, or someday you’re sad, or you strike out at baseball, or think you’ve been bad… just lift up your face, feel the wind in your hair. That’s me, my sweet boy, my love is right there.
In the green of the grass… in the smell of the sea…in the clouds floating by…at the top of a tree…in the sound crickets make at the end of the day… “You are loved. You are loved. You are loved,” they all say.
My love is so high, so wide and so deep, it’s always right there, even when you’re asleep.
You are my angel, my darling, my star…and my love will find you wherever you are.
You are loved.
Wherever You Are, my love will find you

    and the winner is…  Some of her fave things about spring are….. kayaking on Lake Dillon, hiking , sleeping with the windows open, Castle Rock sunsets and roasting marshmallows!

    Thank you everyone for entering and commenting on the blog this week! It was so fun to read the comments!

    Some of my favorite things this spring have been playing outside with my son and watching my backyard lilac bushes blossom right outside of my kitchen window! This Easter was an awesome day celebrating our Savior and spending time with my family. I even managed to coordinate our outfits this year!
