Grab a tissue. Seriously, this is the sweetest thing I’ve ever been able to witness in my life. Colleen emailed me on Sunday telling me about her husbands homecoming from his deployment in Iraq. Raymond was deployed in August of 2009 and she had their daughter Emma in October of 2009. He has not met her and has not physically gotten to hold her until today. Emma is almost 5 months and today was the best day ever because her daddy who loves her SO much got to finally meet her in person. I am so lucky and blessed that I got to witness this. Thank you guys SO much for all you are doing and have done to serve our country! Waiting so patiently … can you imagine the excitement?
Dad texted to tell his girls that the plane has landed! You should have seen her light up!
As I’ve mentioned before – if you need a wonderful florist for your wedding day I highly recommend Cori Cook. We got together last month and I photographed a DIY project on creating a poppy boutonniere. Monday it was featured on the indie bliss blog !! Check out the feature HERE!
However, keep in mind that creating 18+ boutonniere’s on YOUR wedding day should not really be on the to do list ladies 🙂 <3 .
