It’s the holiday season and a lot of 2009 brides are now ordering prints as gifts for family and friends. But, if your anything like me (SO terrible at getting my own pictures PRINTED) make it your goal to get your photographs PRINTED – I can’t stress that enough! Yes, you may have your digital files already but THAT WILL STAY ON YOUR COMPUTER SCREEN unless you get PRINTS!!!!!!
Also, a few tips about ordering prints…
#1. Your photographer ( me 🙂 ) will ultimately have the best possible print quality for your pictures because they will use a professional lab for printing and have their computer and your digital files collaborated with the print company they use.
#2. Don’t EVER go to a drugstore (aka Rite Aid, Walgreens), grocery store or superstore (Walmart, Sam’s, Costco) to get your pictures developed because you will have a very large file to use and these labs will have a smaller, un-calibrated printer, and possibly an untrained technician … meaning that your pictures will get cropped funny and be off color wise (think a green or orange tint that was not on the original file). Go to a professional printing lab and you’ll be a happy camper.
Okay, so now you have your prints. I know, I know, I know – what do I do with them?! Well, here ya go…. fresh ideas for hanging your prints. Any of your photos can be converted to black and white or retouched (zaps out blemishes) by yours truly – also, if you are lacking some creativity give me a holler and I will make you an idea template just like this one full of your own pictures!
David and Jessica had their special day at Red Rocks ! It was an unbelievably beautiful day I mean really …. how can you go wrong with such a spectacular location and a STUNNINGLY gorgeous bride and groom! We just laughed and had such a fun time throughout the entire day! We started at the Table Mountain Inn (such a cool hotel in Golden,CO). Since most of the guests were in from David and Jessica’s hometown in Florida they had a Greyhound bus rented out specially to take them to the wedding venue. Little did we know the traffic was terrible on e470 because of an accident everyone was about 45 minutes late getting there from what should have been about a 15 minute drive. Jessica did NOT let this ruin her day – not even a little! She had a smile on her face even through the stress of all the circumstances! When they arrived she just hopped on the bus when it was cleared of the guests and had her mother help her get into the dress. I LOVE it when brides just get it and know that the wedding day is so important that they don’t let the little things get in the way! That made the day so incredible!
Such a unique ring – it’s an aquamarine diamond !I am absolutely in LOVE with her dress especially the lace along the top! So pretty! Now the on the bus getting into her dress! Such a story to tell of the day – it’s all about the memories!
The ceremony was held in the backyard of the Red Rocks Trading post – such an incredible view. The Newberry Brothers Floral did such a great job on the bouquets and the centerpieces in the reception!
I love this picture so much I kinda feel like a fat kid 🙂 mmm… cake.
