My New “Diamond”

Tonight I got a phone call from my mother, she said “Vanessa get over here as quick as you possibly can! I freaked out thinking something was wrong. But no … she said “Bob, got me a brand new diamond ring! You’ve got to come see it!” My reply was, “How can you fit any bigger of a diamond on that finger!?” But I grabbed my camera and macro lens prepared to take some pictures of her excited face and huge new stone, but when I arrived it was not on her finger and actually didn’t really exist! They told me to look under the tree, there was my late Christmas present! I was so surprised and totally caught off guard!! I tore that baby open and BEHOLD! A BRAND NEW NIKON D3 ! I almost passed out! My mom and I ran around squealing, shrieking and making all the girly excited noises we could and my mom of course took many pictures of my SHOCKED face!! Jared and went out to Jim n’ Nicks to celebrate! What a night, anyhow I took some pictures of it but got seriously distracted  with my new toy, so pictures have to wait until tomorrow. I am keeping my Nikon D 70 as a back up camera, and now exploring this new camera. I’ll let you know how much I love it in the next few days. My step dad is AMAZING, I love him so much …. and NO he won’t adopt you !!  🙂
